Summer Glau is a renowned American actress born and raised in Texas, best known for her exceptional roles in various popular TV series and movies. She began her career as a ballerina before transitioning to acting, discovered by Joss Whedon. Summer made her acting debut as a Russian Ballerina in Whedon’s TV series “Angel” and gained widespread recognition for her award-winning portrayal of River Tam in the cult favorite “Firefly.” She won a second Saturn Award for her role as Cameron Phillips in FOX’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” Over the years, she has appeared in numerous TV series, including “The 4400,” “Alphas,” “Dollhouse,” and starred in NBC’s “The Cape.” Her notable voice work includes roles as Kara in “Superman/Batman: Apocalypse” and Wendy in “Peter Panzerfaust.” Fans also love her guest appearances as herself in “The Big Bang Theory” and Isabel Rochev/Ravager in the CW series “Arrow.”
