Alexander James McLean is an American singer, dancer, actor and a founding member of the pop vocal group Backstreet Boys. The Backstreet Boys, including McLean, made their film debut by appearing in the 2013 comedy This Is the End. McLean has provided his voice to a few animated characters over the years, appeared on Dancing with the Stars, and was the winner of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race in 2022.

Timothy Zahn was born in Chicago in 1951 and grew up in the western suburb of Lombard. He attended Michigan State University, earning a B.S. degree in physics in 1973, and moved on to the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
